In the 23 years since we first opened the restaurant, we have gained top awards from all of the leading guides, including (for 14 years) the coveted
star from the little red book that doesn't let us mention its name in our publicity! We also have an Egon Ronay Star, and 6/10 in the Good Food Guide.
Our reputation is based upon the modern interpretation of traditional dishes, concentrating upon the
superb local ingredients. In addition, we try to source our fish as sustainably as possible, and do not use endangered wild species. As a result some of our fish is now farmed from sustainable sources. These include Icelandic cod,
Norwegian halibut and Shetland organic salmon and sea trout. We ensure that wherever possible the wild fish we do use is either line or pot caught
Recommended in all guides - the food is the focus at Plas Bodegroes.
The restaurant is open for dinner Tuesday - Saturday
(also Sunday on Bank Holidays), and for Sunday lunch. |
